Preface<br />

This report presents <strong>the</strong> results of a survey of <strong>Polish</strong> textile industry and <strong>the</strong><br />

identification of options for pollution prevention and resource savings. The<br />

survey has been conducted as a <strong>Polish</strong>-Danish co-operation programme for<br />

transfer of technology <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Polish</strong> textile industry.<br />

via <strong>the</strong> Danish Environmental Support Fund for Eastern Europe<br />

Selected <strong>Polish</strong> industrial participants in <strong>the</strong> programme were:<br />

ZPD Jarlan, FD Dywilan, ZWO Vera, ZPL Krosnolen, ZPP Sandra, ZPD<br />

information. We thank <strong>the</strong> companies for <strong>the</strong>ir participation and hope that<br />

<strong>the</strong> outcome of <strong>the</strong> programme, as reported here, will prove beneficial <strong>to</strong> both<br />

<strong>the</strong> companies and <strong>the</strong> environment.<br />
