Heating is in some machines done by direct steam injection. By an indirect type of cooling and/or heating process (e.g. heat exchanger) the water itself and the calorific value contained here in can be re-used. The rinsing water is filtrated through a 1 mm steel filter cloth Concept Most processes and machines within the textile industry are designed without water re-use, and it should be assessed as to whether it is technically possible to modify individual machines for internal re-circulation. One example observed at a Danish printing house is re-circulation of rinsing water for the pressure belt in printing machines.
