The objectives <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> programme are:<br />

To apply knowledge syn<strong>the</strong>sized from critical anal-<br />

ysis and <strong>the</strong>oretical concepts relevant to nursing<br />

Contribute to <strong>the</strong> body <strong>of</strong> nursing knowledge through<br />

research and critical analysis <strong>of</strong> concepts and <strong>the</strong>ories<br />

Conduct research as a major mean <strong>of</strong> initiating<br />

Justify practice on <strong>the</strong> basis <strong>of</strong> sound scientific evidence<br />
