Middle childhood candidates are requiredto earn two areas of concentration from the following fourareas: math, social studies, science and reading/language arts. AtLake Erie College, each concentration is a minimum of 24semester hours of coursework. Those teacher candidatessuccessfully completing the program will receive a license toteach children in grades 4-9 or ages 9-14.
