While all of these were only initiatedin 2005, with much more planning to bedone in 2006, potentially these are someof the most important strategic initiativeslaunched by the UFS in its postfinancial turnaround phase. (The financialturnaround strategy, together withseveral academic revitalisation initiatives,was launched from 2000 to 2004,with spectacular success.)The year 2005 was a good year full ofblessings for the University of the FreeState.
