It enablesstudents to think clearly and critically about religious ideas. Through the comparative studyof philosophy, sacred texts, religious history, spirituality, theology and ethics, students learn tothink across disciplines and cultures. The major provides a rich encounter with the liberalarts and prepares students for the graduate study of religion.
