This track begins in thefall or spring semester and may be completed in five academic semesters. Students in thetransfer track must have completed all prerequisites prior to admission.Guidelines for Application and AdmissionFall Priority Consideration Deadline: June 1Spring Priority Consideration Deadline: October 1Thereafter, admission is based on availability of seats in the program.Applicants seeking admission to the BSN Transfer Track must meet the following guidelines:1. Meet all requirements for admission to Shenandoah University2. Submit official transcripts from all colleges and/or universities previously attended.3. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 in these four science courses:Human Anatomy and Physiology I with lab (Domain 4) 4Human Anatomy and Physiology II with lab (Domain 4) 4Chemistry with lab (Domain 4) 4Microbiology with lab (Domain 4) 44. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 in these prerequisite/general education courses:Medical Terminology 1English Composition (Domain 1) 3Public Speaking (Domain 1) 3Statistics (Domain 3) 3Introduction to Psychology (Domain 6) 3Introduction to Sociology (Domain 6) 3Courses that satisfy the following SU general education domains:Artistic Expression (Domain 2) 3Moral Reasoning (Domain 5) 3The Individual in the World (Domain 7) 3Free Electives 7Total Prerequisite Credits 485. Completion of the Test for Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) with a minimum total scoreof 65 percent (score may be subject to change). Applicants may retake the exam onetime only. TEAS testing is not required if applicant has an earned baccalaureate degree orhigher.
