These courses are offered every semester.PTM 170, 270, 370 INTERNSHIP I, II, III1 s.h. eachLearning operational aspects of the tennis industry through a minimum 400-hour paid work experience.Good academic standing is required. Supervision and evaluation are conducted by a faculty member andon site professional. An internship notebook and employer evaluation are required at the completion of theinternship. Requirements for each internship must be met before registering for the next internship. Thesecourses are offered every semester. All students who are participating in a paid internship are subject torandom drug testing prior to and during employment according to the Reeves School of Business DrugPolicy. Seniors who have a GPA of 2.5 may be eligible to participate in a five-month extended PTM 370internship with the approval of the PTM Director.PTM 215 TEACHING METHODS I3 s.h.An introduction to sports science and tennis instructional techniques and materials, including developinglesson plans and programs.
