It is open to all members of the <strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> community--students, faculty, and staff.Trained professional writing consultants are available to assist writers with all aspects of writing. TheCenter is located in the Trustees' Building, room 101, and is open fifty-five hours per week. For additionalinformation about the Writing Center and how to schedule appointments, go the Writing Center's webpage,which can be found through the <strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> Web site.<strong>MU</strong> AT NIGHT<strong>MU</strong> at Night ProgramsBachelor’s degrees available in their entirety through <strong>MU</strong> at Night are Accounting, BusinessAdministration, Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration, JusticeStudies, History, Environmental and Occupational Management, Political Science, Sociology. ElementaryEducation, Global Studies, and Social Work may require some day classes. Also, many associate degreesare available. Contact the <strong>MU</strong> at Night Office or the Fort Bragg Office (Room 104, Building 2-1105, onthe corner of Macomb Street and Reilly Road ) open from 8:00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. Monday through Fridayfor more information. Additionally, <strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong> is involved in a cooperative program with theDefense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) for the awarding of Associate of ArtsDegrees in languages taught by that institution.Academic AdvisingAcademic advising for <strong>MU</strong> at Night students is available at two locations: The <strong>MU</strong> at Night Office inthe Trustees Building (T-305), open from 10:00-8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m.- 6:00p.m. on Friday, and the Fort Bragg Office (Room 104, Building 2-1105, on the corner of Macomb Streetand Reilly Road), open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Formal evaluations of alltransfer credit are provided for students who have earned a minimum of 6 semester hours with a GPA of2.00 or higher at <strong>Methodist</strong> <strong>University</strong>.RegistrationStudents register for or drop/add an <strong>MU</strong> at Night class Monday through Friday at the Fort Bragg officeor in the <strong>MU</strong> at Night Office on the main campus. The <strong>University</strong> reserves the right to cancel a classthrough its first scheduled meeting. Published class schedules are tentative and are not contractual innature. Students must consult with their academic advisor before making changes in their academicprogram.Registration for Current Military StudentsActive-Duty Army: Students using tuition assistance (TA) must register for classes through thewww.GoArmyEd.com portal. The portal must be used for all application, registration, and add/dropTA procedures. Students using the TOP-UP program are still required to complete a paper-basedprocess.Active-Duty Air Force, Navy, Marines: Active-duty services other than Army must provide a TAform authenticated signed by the applicant and the education service officer. TA forms must beturned in at time of registration or FAXed to the Fort Bragg Office at (910) 436-2004.Military Reserves: All Reservists will register for classes by completing a Data Schedule and aPromissory Note at the Fort Bragg office. It is the student’s responsibility to provide the Fort Braggoffice a completed TA form, signed by the applicant and education services representative (from thestudent’s unit). The TA form must include a control number. The student must initiate the TA format the Fort Bragg office and the final TA form, which will include a control number, will be providedby the student’s Education Services Officer.29
