Values of TVOC were 3 hoursafter floor covering 27 times higher then WHO recommendedlimits. The highest values reached toluenewhich was 3 hours after floor gluing 10 timeshigher than limits and three days later still 3 timeshigher than limits.All values of VOC and TVOC were below thelimits in 28 days after finishing the room. Figure 2shows that there is a very strong dependency of theamount of emissions on time.CONCLUSIONOur research proved that the biggest sourceof VOC emissions was PVC flooring glued by therubber solvent glue.Equipment of the newly built room with theglued flooring emitted amounts of VOCs higherthan are the limits not only after 3 hours but alsoafter 72 hours.
