Quiet HoursThe following Quiet Hours are enforced in the residence facilities:• 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. – Sunday through Thursday• Midnight to 10:00 a.m. – Friday and SaturdayCourtesy Hours are in effect at all times. Recycling containers are provided ineach residence hall for use..Residence Access CardsEach resident is assigned a <strong>University</strong> ID card that gives them access to their residencefacility/room. Residents who lose their ID card must notify Security immediately by calling x3333or 563/589-3333. Residents will be assessed a charge <strong>of</strong> $25.00 per lost ID card which will bebilled to the student’s account. Unauthorized possession, use, or duplication <strong>of</strong> any <strong>University</strong> IDcard is prohibited. For more information on ID cards, contact Security at 563/589-3333.Residence Hall Association (RHA)RHA exists to provide a representative body in order to promote participation in the policyprocess, greater communication development, awareness <strong>of</strong> residence hall life, conductprograms for the residents <strong>of</strong> the halls, and have jurisdiction over all issues that exclusivelypertain to the residence hall community <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Dubuque</strong>. The Residence HallAssociation is affiliated with National Association <strong>of</strong> College and <strong>University</strong> Residence Halls(NACURH) and the Midwest Affiliate <strong>of</strong> College and <strong>University</strong> Residence Halls (MACURH).Residence HallsAitchison Hall is an English Tudor-style residence hall and is designated the first-year studenthall, housing both undergraduate women and men.Cassat and Donnell Halls are stone residence halls located next to the athletic fields on BennettStreet. Both halls house undergraduate women and men.Park Village Apartments are suite-style apartments located on the South Campus. The four- andfive-room apartments accommodate five residents in single rooms and/or one room large enoughfor two residents to share the space. Common areas, including fully equipped kitchens, areshared between the residents. Park Village suites are designated for upper class men andwomen.Potterveld Apartments consist <strong>of</strong> three buildings located adjacent to the baseball field on thesouthwest corner <strong>of</strong> the campus. One building contains two-bedroom apartments and the othertwo buildings contain one-bedroom units. Potterveld Apartments house graduate, undergraduate,and seminary students.Seminary Village Townhouses are located on Collins Street. The 32 three- or four-bedroom unitshouse Seminary students and families.36
