Арена получила и международноепризнание. Как спортивное и строительное сооружениеона удостоена четырех наград. За реализациюконцепции Smart Stadium на базерешений компании Cisco «Донбасс Арена»признана «Спортивным сооружением будущего».По версии донецкого Проектно-строительногоклуба — «Лучшим строительным объектом2009 года». По решению экспертной комиссииМинистерства регионального развития и строительстваУкраины в номинации «Лучшее строениеи сооружение социально-культурной и оздоровительнойсферы, построенное и принятоев эксплуатацию в Украине в 2009 г.» — «Лучшимстроением 2009 года в Украине».Кроме того, арена удостоена звания «Лучшийпроект Mobotix 2009 года в мире». Не осталасьбез внимания и церемония открытия «ДонбассАрены». Так, по версии Stadium BusinessAwards, она признана событием года (Event ofthe year). На конкурсе Italia BEA (Best EventAwards) ей присвоено звание лучшего массовогомероприятия. А по версии Eventia Awards,открытие «Донбасс Арены» — лучшее праздничноемероприятие года (Best celebratory event).Awards and recognitionDonbass Arena is one of the most titled facilities for culturaland mass events in Ukraine. The Arena is also recognizedinternationally. It has four awards as a sports and constructionstructure. For the implementation of the Smart Stadiumconcept based on Cisco Company’s solutions, Donbass Arenais recognized as the Sports Facility of the Future; accordingto the Donetsk Project and Construction Club, it is recognizedas the Best Construction Project in 2009; according to thedecision of the expert commission of the Ministry for RegionalDevelopment and Construction of Ukraine in the Best Buildingof the Social, Cultural and Recreational Sphere Built andCommissioned in Ukraine in 2009 nomination as the BestBuilding 2009 in Ukraine.Besides, the Arena is recognized as the World Best MobotixProject in 2009. Donbass Arena grand opening ceremony wasnot ignored either. For example, according to the StadiumBusiness Awards, the grand opening was recognized as theEvent of the year.
