In addition, the results frominterviews and questionnaireindicated that the pupils enjoyedthe project.The results indicated that hyphenusage in news headlines wasessential to clarify ambiguoussentence structures andcontributed to a betterunderstanding of news headlines.Data analysis showed thatillustrations had a positive effecton students’ readingcomprehension. Further, thestudents in the experimentalgroup were highly motivated andactive in the class while thecontrol group students wereacting normally.The findings of this studyconfirmed that the students whowere taught readingcomprehension using (BBL)achieved higher scores than thestudents who were taught by thetraditional method.Arab World English JournalISSN: 2229-9327www.<strong>awej</strong>.org496
