DISPLAYGETTING STARTEDThe LED display shows measured values, enteredparameters, instrument status, and usermessages. There are two 5-digit LED displays and25 indicator LEDs. When making normalmeasurements, the major parameter (L, C, or R) isshown on the left display and the appropriateminor parameter (Q, D or R) is shown on the rightdisplay. The number of displayed digits and thelocation of the decimal points are automaticallyadjusted according to the range and resolution.The measured parameters (L, C, or R and Q, D, orR) are indicated by the LEDs above each numericdisplay. If the AUTO LED is also on, the unit is inthe auto parameter mode. The % LED indicatesthat the measurement is displayed as a relativedeviation from an entered nominal value. Units areindicated by the LEDs located between the twodisplays: Ω, kΩ, MΩ, µH, mH, H, pF, nF or µF. Theminor parameter is dimensionless (Q and D) orhas the units of Ohms for resistance, unless thekΩ LED on the right is on. Status information(REM, ACT and ERR) is shown to the right of theminor parameter. Beneath the major parameterdisplay are indicators for entering binning values,NOMinal, +LIMit and -LIMit.1-2
