Three credit hours.Three hours of lecture per week. Prerequisites:STAT 3002 and twelve credits in option areas.An advanced and integrated course for businessstudents. Philosophies, practices, andinvestigation of current problems in the field.Every student is required to submit an originaldissertation on a subject or a current problem forthe business manager, in partial fulfillment of thecourse requirements.ADMI 4058. COMPARISON OFADMINISTRATIVE SYSTEMS AMONGENTERPRISES IN PUERTO RICO ANDOTHER COUNTRIES. Three credit hours.Fifteen hours of conference and a minimum ofeighteen hours of visits to enterprises in PuertoRico and a trip of at least twelve days to theselected countries. Prerequisite: consent of theDean of Business Administration.Comparative analysis of administrative andindustrial practices among different enterprisesin Puerto Rico and the other countries.Managerial functions, processes, andorganizational structures of enterprises will behighlighted. Includes conferences; and planttours of enterprises.ADMI 4695. FINANCIAL AND ECONOMICSTRUCTURES. Three credit hours. Threehours of lecture per week. Prerequisite: ECON3022.Basic financial and economic structures ofPuerto Rico and the U.S., with special emphasison primary and secondary data sources used inbusiness research.ADMI 4995. SPECIAL PROBLEMS. One tothree credit hours per semester. Prerequisite:Consent of the Dean of the Faculty.Individual studies, investigations, or specialproblems in any of the various aspects ofBusiness Administration. SMALL BUSINESS ADVISING.One to three credit hours. Two to six hours ofconsultation and advising per week toparticipating enterprises. Prerequisite: Consentof the Dean of the Faculty.Students will be assigned to small businessadministration cases, Junior Achievement minicompanies,and other appropriate organizations todevelop perspective and analytical insight aboutoperations, decision-making processes, andinterpersonal, group and intergroup relations.Supervision will be in charge of a Faculty member.ADMI 4997. BUSINESS PRACTICE FORCOOP STUDENTS. Three to six credit hours. Amaximum of three work periods will bepermitted.
