Inexceptional cases, this requirement may bewaived by authorization of the dean of therespective college and the Dean ofAcademic Affairs.(c) Have satisfied the following time-limitrequirements for the completion of studiesfor the degree:Normal TimeRequired forCompletion ofProgramsMaximumTimeAllowedDaytime2 years 4 years4 years 8 years5 years 10 yearsAfter this period, the University reserves theright to require the student to repeat allcourses which, in the opinion of therespective dean, need review. In all suchcases, the student must obtain writtenconsent in duplicate from the dean, togetherwith a list of the courses to be repeated.Copies of this authorization must besubmitted to the director of the departmentand to the Registrar.(d) Have satisfied all financial obligations to theUniversity.(e) Have filed an application for the degree, inthe Registrar's Office no later than the datespecified in the Academic Calendarapproved by the Administrative Board.(f) Have been recommended for the degree bythe faculty.(g) Attend the commencement Exercises,unless excused by the Registrar.The University celebrates commencementexercises once during the academic year at theend of the second semester when all degrees areawarded. Students who meet their courserequirements for the degree at the end of thesummer session or the first semester may applyto the Registrar's Office after said requirementshave been met for a certificate showing that theyhave completed their studies.57
