In 2008, the high health council of Jordan was commissioned to establishnational HRH observatory, and in June 2008, the first stakeholders’ meeting was held and produced acoherent coordination framework among stakeholders. As a result, a permanent national forum wascreated and has been meeting on a regular basis since then to address, debate and solve HRH relatedissues and challenges. In July 2009, the HRH national observatory of Jordan was launched and hasbeen operational with instant updating of HRH data and information www.hhc.gov.jo/nhrho It will alsoserve as the main reference of updated information and statistics on HRH in Jordan.2.
