4.2 Post-service and Continuing EducationIn addition to the post graduate programs leading to high degrees such as Mastersand PhDs in health sciences as indicated in section 4.1.3, formal post-servicetraining programs are confined to physicians and dentists in public and privatesectors (Table 4.9). Except of the Diploma in Community Medicine which isorganized by MOH, these programs are managed and supervised by the JordanMedical Council. It consists of:the Minister of Health (President), the deans of the Medicine Faculties and DentistryFaculties in Public Jordanian Universities, the director of the Royal MedicalServices, the president of the Jordanian Medical Association, and the president ofthe Dentists’ Association and the chief of the High Studies Committee at JMC.
