POSTCATASTROFIC AREAS OF BRYANSK REGION: SOCIAL AND
PSYCHOLOGICAL REHABILITATION AND ADAPTATION OF THE POPULATION
LIVING IN RADIATION RISK
Abstract: This article provides an overview of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident in
April 26, 1986 for the south-western areas of Bryansk region. The author has considered a
number of issues of organization of rehabilitation works and analyzes the system of measures
to promote healthy lifestyles in radioactively-contaminated areas of Bryansk region.
