Chapter 2: Existing Conditions<br />
Running parallel to Broad Street, Cherry Street<br />
marks the northern edge of the downtown project<br />
area. It has a mixture of residential and commercial<br />
development. There are sidewalks along the street,<br />
some with a detached green space between the<br />
sidewalk and adjacent residential developments.<br />
Although the single-family residences face the<br />
street, the multi-family housing development does<br />
not, and a privacy fence defines its edge.<br />
