Chapter 2: Existing Conditions<br />
The wooden ‘Welcome to <strong>Milliken</strong>’ sign at Sign Park<br />
marks the official entrance into downtown. Sign<br />
Park itself is a small porkchop of land bounded by<br />
Highway 60 (Broad Street) to the north, Kathleen<br />
Avenue to the west, and residential Broad Street to<br />
the south (the residential section of Broad Street<br />
dead-ends at Sign Park).<br />
In addition to the wooden sign, Sign Park also<br />
contains several large trees and irrigated turf grass.<br />
