Existing Conditions Parks – Skate Park Skate Park Chapter 2: Existing Conditions The Town of <strong>Milliken</strong> is currently in the process of redeveloping and constructing improvements to the existing Skate Park, including possibly acquiring the land directly north of the park. Today, the Skate Park has few elements, and those in place are showing signs of wear. Located one-block south of Broad Street, the Skate Park has a direct relationship to the downtown core, and serves an important community youth function. Existing Conditions Parks – Fireman’s Park Fireman’s Park Located west of the Fire Station parking lot, Fireman’s Park is a small greenspace that functions primarily as a detention basin and drainage ditch. There is a large culvert at the northwestern edge of the park that carries water underneath Broad Street and onto Josephine Avenue. Although primarily a green space, there are a few large mature trees that buffer the park from the Fire Station parking lot. A sidewalk along Broad Street marks the northern park edge.
