• A dual-threat quarterback at MacArthur High School (TX), was<br />

named the District 7-5A MVP as a senior in 2006 after rushing<br />

for 1,264 yards and 19 touchdowns, while adding 882 yards and<br />

nine touchdowns through the air<br />

• Was Scout.com’s No. 7-ranked wide receiver and earned a spot<br />

in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl following his senior season<br />

• Compiled 43 receptions for 778 yards and 13 touchdowns as a<br />

junior wide receiver in 2006<br />

• The son of Anthony and Lolette Brooks and the brother of<br />

Jazzmyn and Kaelyn. His mother is an insurance claims adjuster<br />

for MetLife<br />

• Has a daughter, Rylan Kaelyn<br />

• Majored in general studies at LSU<br />

2015 HIGHLIGHTS (WITH BUFFALO)<br />

• Played in 13 games, seeing most of his game action on special<br />

teams. Tallied five tackles and two pass breakups on defense,<br />

while tying for third on the team with seven special teams<br />

tackles<br />

• Notched a season-high five tackles and two passes defensed in<br />

a 16-6 win vs. Dal. (12/27)<br />

2014 HIGHLIGHTS (WITH BUFFALO)<br />

• Played in 14 games with one start and compiled a career-high<br />

24 tackles and one pass defensed. Also logged a career-high 10<br />

tackles on special teams, marking the second-highest total on<br />

the team<br />

• Started the final contest of the year at NE (12/28) and tied his<br />

career high with nine tackles in the Bills’ 17-9 victory<br />

• Logged seven tackles, marking the third-highest total of his career,<br />

at Oak. (12/21)<br />

2013 HIGHLIGHTS (WITH BUFFALO)<br />

• Appeared in 11 games and recorded four tackles on defense<br />

and five tackles on special teams<br />

• Recorded three tackles and a quarterback hit in the season<br />

opener vs. NE (9/8), but sustained a foot injury that sidelined<br />

him for the following five contests<br />

2012 HIGHLIGHTS (WITH BUFFALO)<br />

• Began the season on Injured Reserve Designated for Return<br />

with a foot injury, but returned in early November and went on<br />

to play in nine games with two starts. Made 13 tackles and four<br />

passes defensed in his rookie campaign<br />

• Made the first start of his NFL career vs. Jax. (12/2) and notched<br />

a career-high nine tackles and a career-high three passes defensed<br />

in the Bills’ 34-18 victory over the Jaguars<br />

COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS<br />

• Played in all 53 games for the LSU Tigers from 2008-11 and<br />

made three starts. Finished his collegiate career with 90 tackles,<br />

including 12.5 for a loss, 5.5 sacks and three interceptions,<br />

all of which he returned for touchdowns. Also notched 10 pass<br />

breakups, five forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries<br />

• As a senior in 2011, recorded 30 tackles, including 6.5 for a loss,<br />

and set career highs in sacks (3.5), pass breakups (six), interceptions<br />

(two) and fumble recoveries (three)<br />

• Was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week after returning<br />

an interception 46 yards for a touchdown and adding four<br />

tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a<br />

52-3 win at Ole Miss (11/19/11). The pick-six came on Ole Miss’<br />

third play of the game and gave LSU an early 7-0 lead<br />

• Notched an interception return for a touchdown when he picked<br />

off a pass vs. Auburn (10/22/11) and returned it 28 yards for a<br />

score<br />

• Played in all 13 games as a junior in 2010 and logged a career-high<br />

33 tackles. Also notched two sacks, three pass breakups,<br />

a forced fumble and the first interception of his career
