2015 HIGHLIGHTS - Cont.
• Finished the season ranked third on the team with 12 special
teams tackles despite signing to the 53-man roster in Week 3
• Tied for the team lead with two ST tackles vs. Ari. (12/20)
• Scored the second touchdown of his career when he scooped
up a blocked punt (S Chris Maragos) and returned it for a score
at NE (12/6). His touchdown tied the game at 14-14 just before
halftime and helped propel the Birds to a 35-28 win over the
previously 10-1 Patriots. Also led the team with three special
teams tackles and helped block for Darren Sproles’ 83-yard
punt return for a TD in the third quarter
• Tied for the team lead with two ST tackles vs. NO (10/11)
2013 HIGHLIGHTS
• Recorded his first-career sack, taking down Redskins QB Robert
Griffin III in his first-career start vs. Was. (11/17). Also notched
six tackles and two passes defensed in the contest
IT’S ALL GOODE
Najee and his father, John Goode, are the
first father-son duo to take snaps for the
Eagles. John played in 14 games for the
Eagles in 1985. Said Najee:

me that the fans
are extremely
passionate
about their
sports. He said I
should enjoy
the moment
and just make
plays ... I was 4
years old and I
knew the Eagles
chant -
E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES! I used to hear my
dad do it all the time.”
• Entered the game in the first quarter at GB (11/10) in place of an
injured Mychal Kendricks and recorded five tackles
• Recovered a mishandled long snap at the Giants 2-yard line and
ran it in for his first-career touchdown vs. NYG (10/27)
COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS
• Appeared in a Mountaineers-record 52 games (25 starts) and
finished his career with 157 tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, eight
sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble
recoveries. Served as team captain as a junior and a senior
• Earned first-team All-Big East accolades following his senior
season and led the team with 87 tackles and 15 tackles for loss,
while finishing third on the team in sacks with five. Also recorded
one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and two interceptions
• Played in 12 games (11 starts) as a junior and ranked eighth on
the team with 47 tackles, including 8.5 tackles for loss
