• Greatest love besides football: “Definitely my family,” Jones
said. “That’s something that’s very important to me, especially
when you have kids. It’s so important to be that positive influence
for them. I love being able to spend time with them away from
football, whether it’s going to their games or on vacations with
the whole family. It’s great to be able to spend quality time
with them and help create memories that our kids will have for
forever”
• Nickname: Donnie Longball. Was given to him by teammate
Connor Barwin
• He and his wife, Aubrie, have a son, Weston, a daughter, Addison,
and also have one dog, a poodle named Rilie
• Earned all-state and all-district honors as a senior at Catholic
High School in Baton Rouge, LA
• Averaged 43.4 yards per punt on a team that reached the Class
5A semifinals
• Also threw the javelin and participated in the high jump in high
school
• Says the last time he scored a touchdown was in 1998
• Favorite restaurant in Philly: Nick’s Roast Beef
• Favorite team growing up: LSU Tigers
• Son of Don and Amanda Jones and has a sister, Mandy
• Graduated from LSU with a degree in finance
