Success Is Not a Race, It’s a Journey
For many years i wanted to be my own boss, and when the opportunity
the business failed and i lost everything. it was a pretty demoralizing
experience and one that i liked to deny responsibility for. Shortly
afterwards i was given a audio copy of The Slight Edge and my eyes
were opened. Although it seemed like my business had failed overnight,
when i really thought about it nothing could have been further from the
truth. For a long time i had been applying the Slight Edge in reverse, and
the cumulative effect of that, as i found out, is devastating.
i’m happy to say that since then i have been applying Slight Edge
principles in the correct manner, and although it has taken awhile (no
one said it would be easy, did they?) things are now moving forward in a
children’s book is being published this month, with a series of 12 planned
over the next two years. The future for our family looks extremely bright,
and i know from the bottom of my heart that this is down to consistent
application of the Slight Edge.

i grew up in a middle class family where i was taught to go to school,
get good grades and get a good job. Unfortunately my plan was
derailed by some family medical circumstances that i could not
control. At the age of 21 i found myself making $4.25 per hour
working six days a week pursuing the philosophies of my parents.
The Slight Edge opened my mind to new horizons as i realized my
past did not have to equal my future. i now knew that with a slight
change in activity and consistency it was only a matter of time
before i reached my true destiny. With these changes i created
by applying the Slight Edge principles over time you can positively
change the trajectory of your life.
