La visite du thé de Sahambavy peut se faire en
toute saison. L’été, le climat est sec.

C’est une visite en plusieurs étapes dont la
première peut par exemple être la ville d’eau
Antsirabe. Une autre idée est de s’arrêter à
Ambositra pour quelques découvertes de
l’artisanat malgache. Enfin, prendre la route
vers les hautes terres de Madagascar. La
route n’est pas facile mais les paysages sont
surprenants. Comptez 7 heures de trajet. Arrivés
à Fianarantsoa, 20 kilomètres vous séparent
encore de Sahambavy.

A Fianarantsoa, nombreux édifices et établissement
religieux construits à l’époque de Ranavalona 1er, dans
les années 1830. Les maisonnettes construites non
loin ont le charme des constructions simples. A 40
kilomètres à l’ouest de la ville, le village de Soatanana et
son atmosphère religieuse, mérite une visite tout comme
au sud, Ambalavao, ses maisons traditionnelles et ses
marchés de zébus.
In Fianarantsoa, ​many buildings and religious
