Endometriosis is a disease state most readily diagnosed with a good<br />

history and physical examination. A tender, retroverted, and fixed uterus<br />

can be suggestive <strong>of</strong> deeply infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) that distorts<br />

normal and mobile pelvic anatomy. However, physical findings may
