Diamond Scabbard Level 25<br />

A blade drawn from this diamond-studded scabbard is granted<br />

an incomparable magical edge.<br />

Property: This scabbard resizes to fit any light blade or<br />

heavy blade. You can draw a weapon from this scabbard as<br />

part of the same action used to make an attack with that<br />

weapon.<br />

Power (Encounter): Free Action. Use this power when you<br />

attack with the weapon most recently sheathed in the<br />

scabbard. Gain a +5 power bonus to the next damage<br />

roll you make with that weapon before the end of your<br />

next turn.<br />

The weapon must have been sheathed in the scabbard<br />

within the past 24 hours to gain this power.<br />

Drum of Panic Level 13<br />

Covered with the hide of a cacklefiend hyena, this drum strikes<br />

fear into the hearts of your enemies.<br />

Wondrous Item 17,000 gp<br />

Power (Daily ✦ Fear): Minor Action. When you strike the<br />

drum, you and each ally within 10 squares of you gain<br />

a +2 power bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls with<br />

powers that have the fear keyword. This effect lasts until<br />

the end of your next turn. Sustain minor.<br />

Dust of Arcane Insight Level 8<br />

This foil pouch periodically renews a supply of metallic dust<br />

that attunes you to arcane effects.<br />

Wondrous Item 3,400 gp<br />

Power (3/Day): Standard Action. Pull out and toss a pinch<br />

of dust into the air above you. You gain the ability to<br />

detect magic for 5 minutes even if you are not trained<br />

in the Arcana skill. You also gain a +2 power bonus to<br />

Arcana checks made to identify a conjuration or zone,<br />

identify a magical effect, or sense the presence of magic<br />

(see the Arcana skill entry, PH 181).<br />

A pouch of dust of arcane insight can be used three times<br />

per day.<br />

Dust of Banishment Level 25<br />

The crimson powder periodically renewed by this red leather<br />

pouch can banish a creature to a fiery prison.<br />

Wondrous Item 625,000 gp<br />

Power (Daily): Standard Action. You sprinkle a handful of<br />

this dust on an adjacent creature. Make an attack: Melee<br />

1; +28 vs. Will; on a hit, the target is banished to a fiery<br />

corner of the Elemental Chaos, where it is stunned and<br />

takes ongoing 10 fire damage. A save ends both effects<br />

and returns the target to its original location or the<br />

closest unoccupied space.<br />

CHAPTER 2 | Magic Items<br />

Dust of Creation Level 18<br />

This clear bottle periodically renews a supply of golden sand<br />

that can transform into any object.<br />

Wondrous Item 85,000 gp<br />

Power (Daily ✦ Conjuration): Standard Action. When you<br />

toss a handful of this dust into the air, it settles in the<br />

form of any mundane nonmagical object with a weight of<br />

up to 25 pounds. The fully functional object glows faintly<br />

and radiates magic that can be detected with a DC 24<br />

Arcana check. The object lasts for 24 hours or until you<br />

will it back to dust (a minor action).<br />

Dust of Disenchantment Level 10<br />

The sparkling silver dust periodically renewed within this<br />

leather pouch can suppress the effects of magic.<br />

Wondrous Item 5,000 gp<br />

Power (Daily): Standard Action. Sprinkle a pinch of this<br />

dust on an adjacent object or magical effect. Make an<br />

attack: Dexterity vs. Reflex. If you are targeting a held<br />

item, make the attack against the creature holding it. If<br />

you are targeting an unattended magic item or magical<br />

effect, use a Reflex defense of 10 + the level of the object<br />

or effect. A hit renders that object or effect inert (save<br />

ends). An inert magic item loses any properties and<br />

enhancement bonus, and its powers cannot be activated.<br />

An inert magical effect is suppressed.<br />

Special: You can use a dose of dust of disenchantment in<br />

place of the required component cost for a Disenchant<br />

Magic Item ritual.<br />

Earthbind Lodestone Level 18<br />

When thrown to the ground, this smooth metallic stone hits<br />

with such force that it knocks airborne creatures from the sky.<br />

Wondrous Item 85,000 gp<br />

Power (Daily): Standard Action. Throw this stone to the<br />

ground in your square and make an attack: Close burst 5;<br />

affects creatures with a fly speed; +23 vs. Fortitude; on<br />

a hit, the target loses the ability to fly or hover until the<br />

start of its next turn. If a target is airborne when it is hit,<br />

it falls.<br />

Enchanted Reins Level 5<br />

Made of woven silver and black leather, these reins can help<br />

tame even the most savage beast.<br />

Wondrous Item 1,000 gp<br />

Property: These reins resize to fit any Small, Medium, or<br />

Large natural beast. All Nature checks made to handle a<br />

natural beast fitted with the enchanted reins gain a +2<br />

item bonus.
