Power (Consumable ✦ Healing): Standard Action. You<br />

drink the flask of astral mead. For the next 12 hours, you<br />

gain a +2 power bonus on Endurance checks and regain<br />

an extra 2 hit points whenever you spend a healing<br />

surge.<br />

Feybread Biscuit Level 13<br />

This hard but tasty biscuit enhances your recuperative powers<br />

for the rest of the day.<br />

Property: A single feybread biscuit weighs one-tenth of a<br />

pound and has the nutritional value of a full day’s worth<br />

of food.<br />

Power (Consumable ✦ Healing): Standard Action. You eat<br />

a feybread biscuit. For the next 12 hours, you gain a +1<br />

power bonus on Endurance checks and regain an extra 1<br />

hit point whenever you spend a healing surge.<br />

Gem of Valor Level 20<br />

This brilliant sapphire promises great rewards to the bold.<br />

Other Consumable 5,000 gp<br />

Power (Consumable): Free Action. Use this power when<br />

you spend an action point. Roll 1d20 to determine the<br />

result, adding 1 to the result for each milestone you’ve<br />

reached today. Regardless of the result, using the gem<br />

consumes it and turns it to dust.<br />

1–9: Gain a +1 power bonus to all defenses until the end<br />

of your next turn.<br />

10–19: Gain a +1 power bonus to all attack rolls until the<br />

end of your next turn.<br />

20: Gain 1 action point. You must spend this action point<br />

before the end of this turn, or it is lost. You can spend it<br />

even if you’ve already spent an action point during this<br />

encounter.<br />

Special: Using this item counts as a use of a magic item daily<br />

power.<br />

Glowstone Level 10<br />

This fist-sized stone glows faintly and can be used to create a<br />

bright burst of radiant light that harms undead creatures.<br />

Property: A glowstone radiates dim light in a 2-square radius.<br />

Power (Consumable ✦ Radiant, Zone): Standard Action.<br />

Use the glowstone to creates a zone of bright illumination<br />

in an area burst 2 within 5 squares of you. Any undead<br />

creature that is vulnerable to radiant damage that enters<br />

or starts its turn within the zone is affected as if it had<br />

taken radiant damage. For example, a skeleton that has<br />

vulnerable 5 radiant takes 5 radiant damage if it enters<br />

or starts its turn in the zone. The zone remains until the<br />

end of the encounter or for 5 minutes, whichever comes<br />

first. Using this power turns the glowstone to dust.<br />

Life Shroud Level 4<br />

This clean linen wrap protects a corpse from the ravages of time<br />

and the blasphemies of necromancers.<br />

Other Consumable 40 gp<br />

Property: A corpse wrapped in this shroud does not decay,<br />

can’t be touched by an undead creature, and can’t become<br />

undead. Once wrapped about a body, a shroud turns to<br />

dust after 1 week.<br />

Nail of Sealing Level 4<br />

This thick iron nail is adorned with warding symbols and can<br />

hold shut any portal or container.<br />

Other Consumable 40 gp<br />

Power (Consumable): Standard Action. When you push<br />

this nail into a door, chest, or other closeable object, it<br />

magically sinks into the material of that object and seals<br />

it shut. Treat this as if you had used an Arcane Lock ritual<br />

with an Arcana check result of 25.<br />

Special: You can use this item in place of the required<br />

component cost for an Arcane Lock ritual. In that case, use<br />

your own Arcana check instead of that of the nail.<br />
