are manufactured under license at two factories in the country.
Chinese and European car manufacturers are now also pushing
With an area of 68,000 square kilometres, the Aral Sea was the fourth
largest inland lake in the world until the late 1960s.
Aral Sea, once the size of Bavaria, today there are only small remnants
of water in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, which together cover almost
8,000 km2. The reason for the drying up was the use of the two supply
inlet rivers for agriculture, especially cotton, in the Soviet Union.
