AT THE SPANISH RIDING SCHOOL<br />
STABLE CASTLE<br />
THE STABLE CASTLE, Vienna’s most remarkable Renaissance building, is part of one of<br />
the best-preserved historical wings of the Hofburg palace. Thanks to the mobile roofing<br />
of the beautiful arcade courtyard, the Stable Castle can be used for events from April<br />
until October. Up to 560 people can be hosted at this unique event location.<br />
BAROQUE WINTER RIDING SCHOOL<br />
EMPEROR CHALRES VI commissioned the most beautiful riding arena in the world for his<br />
beloved Lipizzan stallions. His rider’s portrait can still be seen in the Royal Box. Architect<br />
Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach planned and constructed a riding hall suitable for the<br />
elegant imperial horses from 1729 to 1735. The ceilings and walls enriched with stucco<br />
as well as the galleries lined with columns are kept in the Lipizzans’ typical colors: The soft<br />
greys and milky whites result in an atmosphere of timeless beauty.<br />
