Multimedia resources allow students who are<br />

increasingly visually oriented to experience other<br />

eras <strong>and</strong> cultures <strong>and</strong> to acquire ethnographic<br />

sensibility <strong>and</strong> visual literacy that could not be<br />

delivered through textual material. This program<br />

will focus on multimedia resources on women’s<br />

issues <strong>and</strong> create a panel with four experts: media<br />

librarian, film distributor, film review e-journal<br />

editor, college/university faculty member. They<br />

will present their perspectives on issues of<br />

collection development, marketing, distribution <strong>and</strong><br />

classroom use.<br />
