Administration & Leadership<br />

This program includes a demo <strong>and</strong> giveaway of<br />

“Translation Station,” a communication tool for<br />

library staff to respond to simple requests for<br />

library resources <strong>and</strong> services in other languages,<br />

<strong>and</strong> training kits to introduce staff to language<br />

phrases <strong>and</strong> different cultures. We will also discuss<br />

lessons learned from the Free Library of<br />

Philadelphia’s LSTA grant, <strong>and</strong> provide an<br />

opportunity for participants to share best practices<br />

for serving New Americans.<br />
