Depending on the source, the
6.1 channel setting (page 63),
and the sound mode you have
selected, you may not get sound
from the surround back speakers
in your setup. For more on
this, refer to the table on page
51.
Movie
Simulates the relaxed environment
of a movie theater, and is suitable
for watching movies.
Music
Simulates the acoustic environment
of a large concert hall and is
suitable for music or musical
sources.
Virtual Surround Back (VIRTL SB)
The Virtual Surround Back effect
simulates 7.1 surround channel
listening like Dolby Digital Surround
EX or DTS-ES, giving the
impression that there is a surround
back speaker in your system
when listening to a 5.1 channel
source.
Expanded
This mode is especially designed
to give sound depth to stereo
sources, and lets you hear twochannel
(stereo) signals as
simulated multi-channel surround
sound. Use with Dolby Pro Logic
for a stereo surround effect. You
can also use with Dolby Digital
sources for a wider stereo field
than the Standard modes.
5-Channel Stereo (VSX-D711)
This can be selected to give multichannel
sound to a stereo source,
using all of the speakers in your
setup.

fuente de 5.1 canales.
Expanded (Expandido)
Este modo está diseñado
especialmente para dar
profundidad a las fuentes en
estéreo, le permite escuchar

multicanal simulado. Utilícelo con
Dolby Pro Logic para conseguir un
efecto surround estéreo. También

Estéreo de 5 canales (VSX-D711)
Puede seleccionarse para dar un
sonido multicanal a una fuente en
estéreo, utilizando todos los
