Improving FM stereo sound<br />
If the TUNED or STEREO indicators<br />
don't light when tuning to an<br />
FM station because the signal is<br />
weak, press the MPX(/RETURN)<br />
button to switch the receiver into<br />
mono reception mode. This should<br />
improve the sound quality and<br />
allow you to enjoy the broadcast.<br />
Tuning directly to a station<br />
Sometimes, you'll already know the<br />
frequency of the station you want<br />
to listen to. In this case, you can<br />
simply enter the frequency directly<br />
using the number buttons on the<br />
remote control.<br />
1 Press the TUN button on the<br />
remote control to select the<br />
tuner.<br />
You can also use the MULTI JOG/<br />
INPUT SELECTOR dial on the front<br />
panel.<br />
2 Use the BAND button to<br />
change the band (FM or AM), if<br />
necessary.<br />
Each press switches the band<br />
between FM and AM.<br />
3 Press D.ACCESS (Direct<br />

4 Use the number buttons to<br />
enter the frequency of the radio<br />

For example, to tune to 106.00<br />
(FM), press 1, 0, 6, 0, 0.<br />
If you make a mistake halfway<br />
through, press D.ACCESS twice to<br />
cancel the frequency and start<br />

Cómo mejorar el sonido<br />
estéreo FM<br />
En caso de que los indicadores<br />
TUNED o STEREO no se iluminen<br />
cuando sintonice una emisora de<br />
FM, debido a que la señal es débil,<br />
pulse el botón MPX(/RETURN)<br />
para cambiar el receptor a modo<br />
de recepción monoaural. De este<br />
modo se mejorará la calidad y le<br />
permitirá disfrutar de la<br />
transmisión.<br />
Sintonización directa de una<br />
emisora<br />
A veces, ya sabrá la frecuencia de<br />
la emisora que desea escuchar. En<br />
esos casos, simplemente puede<br />
introducir directamente la<br />
frecuencia utilizando los botones<br />
numerados del mando a distancia.<br />
1 Pulse el botón TUN del<br />
mando a distancia para<br />
seleccionar el sintonizador.<br />
También puede utilizar el selector<br />
MULTI JOG/INPUT SELECTOR en el<br />
panel frontal.<br />
2 Utilice el botón BAND para<br />
cambiar la banda (FM o AM), si<br />
