Ben Harper comete un asesinato

dólares esconde el dinero y

está en prisión, esperando
para ser colgado, Ben conoce
al predicador Powell, quien

Ben Harper committs a murder
in exchange for $10,000. He
hides the money and makes
his children, Pearl and John,
promise they will keep secret
the place where it is. Not even
Willa, their mother, knows
where it is. While in prison,
waiting to be hanged, Ben
meets a preacher, Powell, who
unsuccessfully tries to find
out where the money is. When
Powell leaves prison, he wins
Willa’s affection and marries
her, with the intention of killing
her as soon as he discovers
where the hidden money is.
Only the children are in his way
of the much sought after boot.

Una joven va a ir a París en
autobús y al salir de su casa
descubre que su jardín y el
pueblo entero están inundados.
Con un barco y una bicicleta
consigue alcanzar un lugar
seco. Allí un joven en un coche
le ofrece llevarla. Conducen en
círculos, intentando salir del
pueblo, pero están bloqueados
por el agua. Al mismo tiempo,
con la subida del agua las emociones
entro los dos jóvenes
empiezan también a subir. Por
fin consiguen salir del pueblo
inundado. Cuándo llegan a
París y la joven mira hacia la
Torre Eiffel, sabe que pasará
la noche con este hombre.

A young woman is going to Paris
by bus, but when she steps out
of her house she discovers that
her garden and the whole village
is flooded. With a boat and a
bike she succeeds in reaching
a dry spot in the village. There,
a young man in a car offers
her a lift. They drive around in
circles, trying to find a way out
of the area, but are blocked by
the water. Concurrently with the
ever rising water the emotions
between the two young people
also starts to rise. At last they
find their way out of the flooded
area. When they reach Paris
and the young woman looks
up at the Eiffel Tower, she
knows that she is going to
spend the night with this man.
