FILHO, Esmir
Nacido en Brasil se graduó en FAAP escuela de cine en 2004. Su corto Alguna
Coisa Assim ganó el premio al mejor guión en el Festival de Cannes 2006. Impar Par ganó el
premio a la mejor película en el Molodist Film Festival en 2005. Su último corto Saliva fue
seleccionado en el Festival de Cannes 2007.
Born in Brazil. He graduated from the FAAP film school in 2004. His short film Alguna Coisa
Assim won the award for Best Script at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006. Impar Par won the Best
Film award at the Molodist Film Festival in 2005. His latest short film, Saliva, was selected for the
Cannes Film Festival in 2007.
FORNIES, Víctor
Nacido en Zaragoza. Estudió fotografía en la Galería Spectrum. Tras formarse en realización
y escritura de guión en Barcelona asiste a seminarios de conocidos autores como el guionista
Jean-Claude Carriere.
Born in Zaragoza. He studied photography at Galería Spectrum. After studying directing and scriptwriting
in Barcelona, he attends seminars from known scriptwriters such as Jean-Claude Carriere.
GALIÑANES, Juan
Estudió en la Escuela de imagen y sonido de La Coruña. Su primer cortometraje, Coma nunca,
fue nominado a los premios de la academia gallega de audiovisual en 2002. Trabaja en la productora
gallega DygraFilms, participando entre otros en el montaje del largometraje Sueño de
una noche de San Juan, ganadora del premio Goya. En la actualidad trabaja en el montaje del
largometraje de animación El espíritu del bosque.

GUTIÉRREZ, Javier
Nació en México en 1968. Comenzó su carrera en 1993 como publicista. En 1997 entra al
universo digital como director de animación. En el año 2000 fundo la casa productora digital
Ciberfilms. En 2006 recibió el Silver Lion y fue seleccionado en Saatchi and Saatchi New
Directors Showcase.

HERNÁNDEZ, Luis Felipe
Nacido en México en 1982. Autodidacta de la animación en sus inicios como director. En el
2003 realiza estudios de animación stop-motion en Barcelona, desarrollando el cortometraje
Esfera, que recibe difusión y reconocimientos internacionales.

HWIDAR, Abdelatif
Nacido en Ceuta. Comenzó estudiando interpretación para pasar más tarde a estudiar publicidad
y cine. Desde hace unos años trabaja como técnico de televisión, alternando la realización
de programas y documentales además de alguna que otra intervención como actor.
Born in Ceuta. He studied acting followed by publicity and film. For the last few years he has
has been working as a technician on television, alternating between Making programs and
documentaries as well as the odd appearance as a actor.
LAMAR, Pablo
Nació en Asunción en 1984, reside actualmente en Buenos Aires, donde cursa el cuarto año
de la Licenciatura en la Universidad del Cine, coproductora del cortometraje seleccionado
para esta edición.

Nació en Setúbal en 1984. Ha estudiado durante años el arte del rodaje realizando

Nació en Valencia en 1982. En 2005 se gradúa en la ESCAC como Director de Fotografía.

ORTUÑO, Francisco
Sus obras teatrales se han representado en el Royal Court Theatre Upstairs de Londres, en el
Teatro Central de Sevilla y en numerosas salas dentro y fuera de España. Ha ganado varios premios
como el “Miguel Romero Esteo” o el premio ASECAN. Ha escrito guiones para televisión y
ha compuesto numerosas bandas sonoras para largometrajes, cortometrajes y documentales.
His theatrical works have been performed at the Royal Court Theatre Upstairs in London, at the
Teatro Central in Seville as well as in various theatres in and out of Spain. He has won various
awards, such as the “Miguel Romero Esteo” or the award ASECAN. He has written scripts for
television and composed several soundtracks for feature films, short films and documentaries.
REYES, Carlos
Estudió artes visuales en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá. En el año 2003 estreno
su primer largometraje Antesala. Actualmente es docente del Instituto de Humanidades de
la Universidad de la Sabana y se encuentra realizando el cortometraje Tríptico junto a Andrés
Barrientos.
He studied visual arts at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogota. In 2003 he premiered
his first feature film Antesala. He is currently teaching at the Institute of Humanities at Sabana
University and is filming the short film Triptico, with Andrés Barrientos.
