El proyecto expositivo OLIMPIA en HUESCA tiene como protagonistas al Olimpia y a
Huesca, y por tanto al cine, a la ciudad y sobre todo a sus habitantes.
El cine nació moderno. Desde su apertura en 1925, en el Coso, punto neurálgico de
la geografía urbana y humana de Huesca, el Olimpia quiso ser partícipe del espíritu
moderno que aportaba el cine. También ha sido escenario de espectáculos teatrales
y musicales. Citas para el ensueño.
El tiempo que transcurre desde la inauguración del Olimpia hasta el momento actual
de su reapertura, después de una profunda reforma, es motivo argumental del
proyecto que se presenta.
The exhibition OLIMPIA in HUESCA has as its protagonists the Olimpia Theatre and
Huesca, and therefore, the movies, the city and above all its inhabitants.
The theatre was born in modern times. Since its opening in 1925, in the Coso, the
centre of urban geography and human encounters in Huesca, the Olimpia wanted
to be a participant of this modern spirit that the movies added. It has also been the
setting of musical and theatrical performances. A place to daydream.
The time that elapses since the inauguration of the Olimpia up until its current
reopening, after a great refurbishment, is reason enough to justify the exhibition
being presented.

El cine en la cartografía centenaria de la ciudad de Huesca en cuyo desarrollo se
inscribe el OLIMPIA.

JARDÍN DE QUIMERAS GARDEN OF CHIMERAS
Paisaje transitorio, fragmentado como las imágenes que a velocidad de vértigo se
suceden el cine.

Friso de fotografías con el Olimpia y el Coso como hitos centrales en el discurrir del
tiempo en Huesca.
