<strong>Die</strong> Azione teatrale Il sogno di Scipione komponierte der 15jährige Mozart ursprünglich für seinen<br />
Gönner Fürsterzbischof Sigismund von Schrattenbach, widmete sie nach dessen unerwartetem Tod<br />
jedoch seinem Nachfolger Graf Colloredo. Das Werk ist zu Mozarts Lebzeiten vermutlich niemals<br />
aufgeführt worden.<br />
Mozart originally wrote the azione teatrale The Dream of Scipio at the age of 15 for his patron, Prince-<br />
Bishop Sigismund von Schrattenbach. After the bishop’s untimely death he then dedicated the piece<br />
to his successor, Count Colloredo. It was probably never performed during Mozart’s lifetime.<br />
L’azione teatrale Le songe de Scipion, que le jeune Mozart, âgé de 15 ans, avait à l’origine destinée à<br />
son bienfaiteur, le prince-archevêque Sigismund von Schrattenbach, reçut, après la mort inattendue<br />
de ce dernier, une dédicace pour son successeur, le comte Colloredo. Elle n’a sans doute jamais été<br />
représentée du vivant de Mozart.
