Auf der Grundlage des 2002 erschienenen Kritischen Berichtes wurden der neue Klavierauszug
und die Orchesterstimmen auf den neuesten Stand gebracht. Dem aktuellen Quellenbefund entsprechend
gibt es jetzt zwei alternative Versionen des Janitscharen-Chores: die Fassung A nach
dem Direktionsexemplar und die Fassung B nach Mozarts Autograph. Die hinsichtlich ihrer Echtheit
umstrittene Marcia No. 5a findet sich nun im Anhang.
Our new vocal score and the orchestral parts have been brought up to date on the basis of the
critical report published in 2002. In keeping with the present state of the sources, there are two
alternative versions of the Janissary Chorus: Version A from the conductor’s copy, and Version B
from Mozart’s autograph score. The Marcia (No. 5a), being of questionable authenticity, is now
reproduced in the appendix.
La nouvelle partition pour piano et chant et les parties d’orchestre ont été revues à partir du
rapport critique de l’année 2002, tenant compte de l’état actuel de nos connaissances. En vertu des
nouvelles sources, nous donnons deux versions alternatives du chœur des Janissaires : la version A
d’après la copie de direction, et la version B d’après l’autographe de Mozart. La Marcia No. 5a, dont
l’authenticité est douteuse, se trouve désormais imprimée en annexe.
