On the basis of the above predictions, the
government's National Energy make a policy to suppress
the increasing of GHG emission. To actualize RAN (The
National Action Plan) in achieving the reduction target of
CO2 emission by 26%, the government has issued
Presidential Regulation No. 5/2006 with the following items:
• Decrease the share of fossil oil to less than 20% (yr 2005:
54.78%)
• Increase the share of gas to more than 30% (yr 2005:
22:24%)
• Increase the share of coal to more than 33% (yr 2005;
16.77%)
• Increase the share of renewable energy to more than
17% (yr 2005: 6.20%)
• Energy Elasticity less than 1 (existing elasticity is 1.84)
• Decrease Average Energy Intensity to less than 1% per
year
When comparing the predictive value of GHG
emission in 2020 from their respective activities, to
implement national energy policy and without implementing
