In queste condizioni la potenza specifica del vento è assai ridotta ˜Pw = 1 2 ρV3 ∞ = 4, 7 W/m 2 e la potenza che si può sfruttare è praticamente nulla. Con questa simulazione si voleva piuttosto mostrare come, anche a velocità del vento estremamente basse, la configurazione Savonius è ancora in grado di avviarsi, seppur molto lentamente.
