The main goal of artnouveau was to establish a platform for information exchange and discussion about
the opportunities for the use of advanced information technologies in the artistic and cultural application
domains. This presentation seeks to indicate the development of the various stages of the project, to
highlight some of the materials and procedures developed during the project and to give an overview of
some of its results.
Outcomes in the cultural heritage and arts domains are outlined with respect to the state-of-the-art
findings and observations are made concerning the initial road map developed as a guide for future
activities. This is followed by coverage of socio-economic issues, the results achieved by the project,
future activities and exploitation possibilities. The presentation concludes with reference to dissemination
activities and the results of the final project review.
