по мере прогрессирования заболевания от ГЭРБ<br />
до ПБ и последующего РП. Половые гормоны у<br />
женщин могут препятствовать развитию кишечной<br />
метаплазии, что может определять зависимость<br />
разницы в распространенности пищевода Барретта<br />
между полами. Учитывая противовоспалительную<br />
функцию эстрадиола и тот факт, что сильный<br />
рефлюкс и воспаление пищевода, вероятно, способствуют<br />
развитию ПБ и последующего РП [9],<br />
эти эпидемиологические данные свидетельствуют<br />
о том, что воздействие эстрогена в течение репродуктивных<br />
лет может защитить женщин от последовательного<br />
прогрессирования метаплазии пищевода<br />
к формированию раковой опухоли.<br />
