Biosektors stark durch die Nachfrage im<br />
Ausland gefördert. Weil die Regierung<br />
das Exportpotenzial für Bioprodukte<br />
erkannte, wird insbesondere Export von<br />
Bioprodukten unterstützt. Das Gleiche<br />
gilt für Neuseeland.<br />
In Australien gibt es eine<br />
Biogesetzgebung seit 1992, und es ist<br />
eines der fünf Länder auf der<br />
Drittlandsliste der Europäischen Union.<br />

In Australia the organic industry was<br />
strongly influenced by the fast<br />
growing overseas demand, resulting<br />
in the government realising the value<br />
of organic markets and supporting<br />
the organic sector (Clay <strong>2000</strong>).<br />
Australia has national Standards for<br />
organic products in place since 1992,<br />
and it is one of the five countries on<br />
the third country list of the European<br />
Union.
