Nach der ITC-Studie gibt es für
Entwicklungsländer gute Chancen für
die Vermarktung von Bioprodukten,
denn die Märkte in Europa und
Nordamerika eröffnen gute
Möglichkeiten für Produkte, die hier
nicht angebaut werden können wie
Kaffee, Tee, Kakao, Gewürze, tropische
Früchte, Gemüse und Zitrusfrüchte. Es
gibt jedoch auch Marktchancen für
Produkte, die in diesen Ländern selbst
erzeugt werden. Dies hängt damit
zusammen, dass die schnell wachsende
Nachfrage dort zumindest kurz- und
mittelfristig nicht durch die heimische
Erzeugung gedeckt werden kann.
Hinweise auf die anstehenden
Herausforderungen für den Biosektor
gibt die Tatsache, dass sich
Unternehmen wie McDonald’s, Danone,
Lufthansa und Swiss Air für
Bioprodukte geöffnet haben. Nestle und
Novartis haben sich bereits auf dem
Biomarkt etabliert. Die Tatsache, dass
According to the ITC Organic Foods
Report, there are strong market
opportunities for developing
countries in most major markets,
offering good prospects for suppliers
of organic products that are not
produced in Europe or North
America, such as coffee, tea, cocoa,
spices, tropical fruits, vegetables and
citrus fruits. There are also very good
prospects for foods that are
produced in these countries
themselves. These opportunities
stem from the fact that rapidly
growing demand in most markets
cannot be met by local supply, at
least in the short and medium term.
An indication of the challenges
ahead for the organic sector is the
fact that McDonalds, Danone, Lufthansa
and Swiss Air have entered
the organic market. It is known that
Nestle and Novartis have already
established themselves on the
organic market. According to
