Die IFOAM-Basisrichtlinien (IFOAM<br />
1999) werden ständig weiterentwickelt.<br />
Zertifizierende Organisationen könnnen<br />
sich durch die “International <strong>Organic</strong><br />
Accreditation Services Inc.” (IOAS)<br />
überprüfen lassen. Im Jahre <strong>2000</strong> kamen<br />
die ersten Produkte mit dem auf der<br />
Biofach 1999 präsentierten IFOAM-<br />
Logo (Schriftzug ”IFOAM-accredited”)<br />
auf den Markt; ein wichtiger Schritt zur<br />
weltweiten Harmonisierung.<br />

The IFOAM basic standards (IFOAM<br />
1999) are developed continually.<br />
Certifying organisations can get<br />
accredited by the “International<br />
<strong>Organic</strong> Accreditation Services Inc.”<br />
(IOAS). In <strong>2000</strong> the first products<br />
with the „IFOAM-accredited“ logo,<br />
which was presented at Biofach<br />
1999, came on the market - an<br />
important step to world-wide<br />
harmonisation.<br />
