fifth time in a row, managers from the commercial vehicles sector have rated
Mercedes-Benz CharterWay in Germany number one in the Rental/Leasing
category, honoring the company with the Image Award presented by the trade
magazine VerkehrsRundschau.The Munich-based publication
VerkehrsRundschau once again commissioned the market research institute
TNS Emnid to establish the image of the most important suppliers of
commercial vehicles and products and services for fleet operators. In October
and November 2009, TNS Emnid surveyed 400 randomly selected purchasing
specialists and managers from shipping companies and industrial and trading
companies that have their own vehicle fleets.

In the industry-wide American Truck Dealer survey, Daimler Truck Financial
(DTF) in the U.S. was ranked as the number one captive finance company by
dealers. Although their score of 8.3 was just shy of their all-time high in 2009,
they clearly distanced themselves from the nearest competitor. This is the fifth
time in six years that DTF has captured the number one ranking.
Since 2007, the local dealer network has voted Mercedes-Benz Financial
Services in the UK to be their number one finance provider. With an overall
satisfaction rating of 90 percent in the 2010 Sewells Dealer Satisfaction Survey
the results follow the previous outperformance of the competition.

FERNFAHRER have selected Mercedes-Benz CharterWay as the Number One
brand in Germany in the Rental/Leasing category. The ETM Verlag publishing
company once again presented its "Best Brands" awards this year.
Approximately 8,000 readers from the industry took part in the vote, which
covered a total of 20 product groups, including transmission, tires, filters,
seats, air-conditioning/heating systems, mobile navigation, dump trucks, and
rental/leasing.
RODI / Bovag MBFS was rated highest in the country's independent dealer satisfaction survey
RODI.The results of the 2009 Dealer Importer Relationship Survey (RODI) were
very positive for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services in the Netherlands (MBFS).
For the first time, the large scale study included a question regarding the
support of the car maker's captive finance company towards the dealer. MBFS,
clear in the lead, scored best with 8.1 for smart dealer support and 7.9 for
Mercedes-Benz support.The survey is conducted by the Dutch car dealer's
branch organization BOVAG and measures predominantly the dealer
satisfaction with the importer (Brand Partner) in terms of support in Sales and
After Sales. An overwhelming response rate of 43 percent of the 2.863
contacted dealerships from 31 different vehicle brands ensures a
representative overview about the local dealer satisfaction index. The RODI
survey took place in late October through December 2009.

Mercedes-Benz Auto Finance Ltd. in China (MBAFC) received two 2010
"China's Golden Engine Awards". Having just celebrated the 5th anniversary,
the subsidiary was recognized as the "Best automotive financing company" and
for the "Best auto finance case".
