Strandgut Berlin
In der Mauerlücke hinter der East-
Side-Gallery liegen zwei Strandbars
an der Spree. Die linke, edlere ist
das Strandgut, ein Restaurant und
Club mit weißen Sitzwürfeln und
Glitzerkugel. Das feine Felix hat hier
ein Summercamp und internationale
DJs legen House, Elektro und
Classics auf.

Tempelhofer Park
Mit der Aufgabe des Flugbetriebs
erhielt Berlin 2010 eine 355 Hektar
große Freifläche in zentraler Lage
zurück. Die neu gewonnene
Parklandschaft soll Angebote für
Erholung, Freizeit, Sport, Spiel und
wohnungsnahes Grün enthalten und
darüber hinaus dringend benötigte
klimatische Ausgleichsfunktionen
für die dicht bebaute Berliner
Innenstadt erfüllen. 2017 wird hier
die Internationale Gartenausstellung
stattfinden.

in a most central part of town. The
new parkland offers an array of activities
including sports, games
and relaxation. On top of that, this
blanket of urban greenary should
help to balance out the ecological
deficit caused by the densly builtup
inner city. In 2017, the International
Garden Show is slated to take
place here.
